Wood Case Watches

I was given a couple of wooden case watches that were gifted to me as a novelty. Has anyone had any good experiences with a well made wooden case watch?

I have one & love it. It was a 5 year anniversary gift from the wife.

It has the added benefit of being something might have made with my dad, were he still alive. So it helps me remember him also.

I have one from a micro brand out of Northern California named “TreeHut”. I’m satisfied with mine since the wooden case allows me to wear it free from my metal allergies without any mods, like NATO straps, etc.

They are quite cool. The reason they are likely not more popular is because they will not last 50 or 100 years. They might last 20 or 30, but the wood will not last as long as stainless steel.
