......... you instantly think "Nice caseback!!!" before realising it's the bottom of a pan for your stove!!
I have this kind of thing happen all the time. What about you guys? Any others?

Started my watch journey with fashion watches (before I got wise!), then Seiko, Orient etc, now on a big Microbrand kick (Aragon and Helm are my favourites). From New Zealand.

You know you spend too long around watches when you refer to brand knock-offs in the supermarket as 'homages'
