Best Beater Watch
I’d been looking for a quality black digital watch for some time. Obviously, Casio was the only option. I watched many reviews raving about the Royale and was finally convinced to get one. The price point also made that decision very easy.
After spending some time with the watch, it could easily be a one watch collection. Which is crazy for the price point. It has every complication you could think of, looks great, and is extremely durable.
The watch also has a substantial backlight, which is a high point for me. Some Casio watches have abissmal backlights… looking at you F91W. Aside from the backlight, the watch genuinely looks great. It looks like a computer on your wrist. The kind of wrist computer before Apple Watches. It truly is deserving of its “Royale” moniker. It’s very easy to imagine that James Bond might wear one of these.
In conclusion, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed picking one of these up.
