Seiko Chronograph Movements. Three examples.

Since today is Blue Monday I thought I would share three of my Blue vintage Seiko chronographs with my community. It amazes me that Seiko made so many different types of watch movements just for their chronographs. They are Amazing. The first one you see is the 6139 movement with single minute register and day/date. The movement that was “The First Automatic Chronograph in Space “! The second one is the 6138 movement that has a dual register of minute and hour with day/date but can also be hand wound. The 6139 can only do the Seiko shuffle. Lastly is the 7016 movement. Even though it looks like the first one with a single register looks can be Very deceiving!!! The minute and hour hand run through each other and it is also a Fly Back Chronograph !! Very Cool ! Seiko makes so many Great watches and movements ! I know that they still make awesome automatic chronographs i just wish that they would bring back ones that aren’t Limited Editions with a price tag of over $3000.00 . One can only Dream .
