Not worn this Pobeda much, even then, only for a day at a time. Had it on my wrist for several days, it had gained over a minute. Thought I'd pop the back off and have a look inside. Gave the regulator the slightest of nudges and got this, dial up on the timegrapher. I paid $16 on Ebay from Ukraine. Plus 5 seconds, dial down. Err, hmm, crown down is minus 220 seconds. But as I said earlier, wrist time it had only gained just over a minute.
With old watches, wrist time counts for more than the timegrapher.
Slightly eccentric, wicked sense of humour. Self confessed watch cheapskate, who tinkers with watches. Love motorbikes, to date, I've ridden about 250,000 miles, 113,000 of which are on my BMW 1150GS....

I have a similar dial that was £19 delivered, quite a few years ago now. I got it running between +9 / -35 on the timegrapher (beat error is woeful) but on the wrist it levelled out to -10 / -20. I should open it up again and move it to positive if possible. I'm like you, I always prefer on-the-wrist measurements, and use the timegrapher as a tool.
(Movement is a 15 jewel cal 2602)
I feel the same way.
I have a Raketa and always worry about the sporadic timekeeping but, it truly is only for half to a day wears at a time.
It’s a conversation piece more than anything 👍
