Fitting caseback

Mate asked me to press back cover on, not easy. It's curved, my press has nothing to match it.

Thoughts anyone?

I'd just pad it with some buffer material (leather, corrugated cardboard, soft wood block) and hope for the best. You could also try popping the case in the freezer for a few hours so it contracts a bit, but that will probably lead to condensation issues.
