Buren Swiss watch and hallmarks.

While I was in the clock repair shop, I showed the guy this. He identified it by the hallmark as 1904. It was bought on Ebay advertised as 1924. My interest is piqued, I'd like to know more.

I've looked, but, it's a bit of a minefield.

So if anyone is au fait with hallmarks, fire away.

It must have been treasured at one time judging by the hand etched markings inside the caseback.

Ran out of space to show the watch, so that will be shown as the next post.

I would have thought 1924 was more likely than 1904 looking at the design. Wasn't 1904 when the Cartier Santos was first produced?

I don't TBH. But it's a great looking watch regardless. Is it running ok?

Amplitude is slooooow, but, I've had it in my pocket today and it kept good time. But a while ago, it only ran with the dial up. There again it was about £35.😎
