Datejust - good legible dial - what to choose ?

I own for several years a vintage Datejust, a 16030, from 1984, picture below.

Although I really love it I am gonna sell it because, needing more and more often my reading glasses, without the reading glasses the watch is a pain in the ass to read the time....with the very small silver hands and silver indices on a silver dial.

But I do want to replace it with an another Datejust that is well legible.

My first idea was to get a buckley dial (white dial black hands), it must be THE most legible datejust ever, but they were only made until the 80ies so I would have again one with the plexi crystal and high chances of a worn out stretched jubilee bracelet.

So I was thinking about the 16234 white dial and roman numerals...made until the early 2000´s, it has already the saphire crystal...and this model has no lume but in the hands and numerals there is this small black line what makes it under certain angles very legible.....at least that is what I can see on several pictures and Youtube reviews....the ones I find for sale are too far away from where I live to check them out in person...so it would be an online purchase.

So my question to the crunchers, is there anybody here who handled the 16234 white roman in person, and can tell me how the legibility is?

Thx,

Cheers.
