Black stainless steel cases and durability

For the experts: I know the stainless steel cases have no issues with color loss. What about black stainless steel? Do they loose color? Can it be fixed?

It'll scratch, over time it will wear cuz that's what happens.

If it's coated or hardened a la Sin, Damasko, Elliot Brown, Traska, Archimede it'll take longer.

Maybe. For my uses and wear it's gonna happen regardless.

But TBH I'm pretty hard on my watches. I also like the black look too.
