Grail watch reveal
Though my phone is always in my pocket ready to tell me the time, I still want to be sure my watch has enough power so I always appreciate the battery status indicator in my Tough Solar Casio’s and power reserve indicator in mechanical watches. And that Seiko SSA449 became the one I needed for sure. Can’t say I adore some particular style or decade in the history of watch making but that timepiece happens to be perfect for my taste getting the most amount of wear time and the least amount of niggles (obviously I’d love to get sapphire glass for the price and the lume on the indices could be richer). By the way the bracelet here feels really good but having a lot of Seiko’s (all of them except SNKL23 were purchased on straps) I can’t really compare.

A great watch choice and at a very reasonable price point. I particularly like the 60’s Presage, being born in’59 I grew up seeing watches at eye level being a child and seeing Seiko’s 60’s editions brings back those memories 👌
