Fellow Crunchers, what you see here is a proud moment for me. This is my wife’s first wrist shot and it was entirely unprovoked! She isn’t what you’d call a ‘watch person’ but I’m apparently rubbing off on her. She loves the Tank Louis, but when she saw this recently she told me how much she loves the Seiko alternative.
Today she passed a major licensing exam that she’s been working towards for 3 years. I would’ve loved to get her the Cartier but since that watch is about $13k it’s gonna have to wait for another milestone lol. Instead I got this for her and had it engraved with her name and new credentials to commemorate the achievement. It took a while to find someone who would engrave it surprisingly but managed to find a 75 year old lady who does hand engraving who managed it in 24 hours! Props to Sue.
First I got her a baby-G to replace her Apple Watch and she wears it nearly every day. She loves this little Seiko now too. Do we have a future Cruncher waiting in the wings?? Only time will tell 😁
