Thanks - story is I was in the AP boutique in 2020 looking to buy the 1940s Re:Master chronograph - I put it on my wrist and my excitement dropped to meh. I thanked the AP associate for their time and was ready to leave. Instead she said, "Wait, I have something to show you."
Then she brought out this beauty with the blue fume dial - it was love at first sight.
So sometimes you get what you weren't looking for - serendipity.
