Cabin fever

It's pitch dark outside. And cold. Going out makes me feel like I'm being dragged out for an execution at dawn, which is a very unpleasant experience if I have to believe the movies.

It's been raining for two days in which I didn't see much of the outside, and my travels were mostly from one underground parking to another. Even if I don't suffer from claustrophobia I still want to breath some fresh air and opening the car's window while it's rained in buckets yesterday made me realize the benefits of modern civilization, which among other things also allow for power windows to close really fast.

Therefore this morning I braved the elements for a few minutes to get my quota of fresh air and quickly went back inside to the cozy study. The light isn't set to be bright enough to take good photos but at least I don't have to worry that my shivering will overcome the camera's image stabilization.

What I was aiming for was to capture the chocolate sunburst of the SPB147, but I can't really call it a success. I wish I had a desk lamp nearby, but then I also wish the SPB wasn't such a fat assed watch. Life is really unfair sometime.
