First of all, I want to say that both photos were taken from Kibble Watches’ Website. With that out of the way….
I would like to read about your ownership perspective. What’s the watch been like? What are the good things about the brand? What are the bad things?
I have italian heritage, and down the road I’d love to get an italian made watch. However, I’m looking forward to understand more about real life experience with the brand. Bring ‘em in!
Are there other Italian brands you might recommend for a similar price?

They should have their brand name at the top 12 o'clock position. Now that just looks like a sterile watch. To me and my humble opinion - Wasted space and opportunity.
Having owned mine (U1 FMN) for 2+ years, I would say the design chops are really good, clean but a little sterile but not a bad way.
But because of this particular design language, it does make using the timing bezel a bit redundant save the single lume pip. But you accept this for what it is as that's Unimatic's whole thing (aka not a serious dive watch) or choose one of their watches with the actual dive bezel per your pictures from Kibble.
Pros:
Clean and uncluttered design
Solid watch construction
Cons:
Lume application is so-so.
The dial face for my model is quite "flat" (I prefer applied indices and logos)
I still wear mine occasionally, but has fallen out of regular rotation as it's a bit heavier than my other diver (CW Trident Pro 300 38mm).

That’s Fair. To be honest I don’t mind it really, but I completely get your point… I like the bare bones look of the watch, it’s… minimalistic, one might say. The blue one is the one I’ve ever felt attracted to.

Yoong, thanks. That’s what I call a commited answer, and trust me, I appreciate it a lot.
I share your POV when it comes to preferring a bit more dimensionality with the dial (applied indices and applied logo), but there’s something about their design approach that I really like.

Unimatic just released a new line of DLC coated watches similar to what I bought a few yrs back.
But they still have their serious dive watch similar to your posts pic above:
Which is also happens to be thinner than mine.

How thick is yours? Around 14mm perhaps? Thanks for sharing… I like the serious diver dial style more. It’s really cool, the strap looks a tad weird, but no biggie.

I can't remember but it's definitely 13mm if not more.
I like them but there are definite QC challenges
