A few years ago, on my son‘s 21st birthday, I bought him a Glycine Combat Sub to match my own. I told him that when he eventually inherited my “father” watch, he could then turn give his “son” watch to his child. It seemed like a cool way to bond parent and child and create a continuity through the generations with the watches. Anybody else do matching watches with their children?

I absolutely love the thought behind this!
I had one of these and regret selling it. The quality and thinness of the case is incredible. Looks good on the strap.
Not yet matching watches, but I bought one for my son one day before he was born. He’ll get it on his 18th birthday along with a lot of photos of me wearing it while holding him as a baby. Really looking forward to that day!
