Omega Tresor Co Axial chronometer small seconds
Hi Watch Fam
I have marked out the Grand Seiko SBGY007 omiwatari as my next watch. Love the cushion case and the dress watch look. However, I was in the Omega boutique yesterday and come across the Omega Tresor chronometer with the amazing blue dial. The case has similar shape to the GS. What a beautiful watch. Now I have to consider which one to get. I know they have different calibres (spring drive over manual winding), but at this price point I am more into how it looks than whats under the bonnet.
I was wondering if any of my watch fam have any or both of these watches and would like to share some input to help me decide. I actually not a fan of Omega or GS so brand history and recognition doesn't apply to me. Just wanted to know if owners have any wearing experiences with them. Many thanks
You can't buy time, but you can buy how you want to read it. Before you make a purchase, remember that the watch is rarer than money. Happy collecting

I think ultimately it boils down to whether you value the smooth sweep of the seconds hand from Omiwatari's spring drive or not. Me, personally, I don't care at all about calibers, except when it comes to the spring drive, and then only because the smooth sweep is absolutely captivating.

I had my mind set on the GS because of the dial and the sweep of the spring drive. But when I saw the omega, the dial was very captivating. I think I must try both on and see which ones speaks to me the most. I am usually very decisive in what I want but thus one is a very hard choice
