IWC Spitfire - First IWC before price went North.

Got this piece 1.5 years ago before the 30% increase to matched the rest of the pilot chronograph lineup’s pricing.

Not complaining about the anything looking at the price I got it. Loving the matt dial when sun hits on it, the faux patina hour/minute and 12/3/6/9 indicators looks subtle.

Considering for another IWC, particularly Mark XX, can’t decide on the color, not going to pick the Spitfire series again, otherwise bronze Spitfire 39mm would be perfect.

I guess would have to try them out before decide, would be interesting to see how Mark XX green real piece gonna look before my eyes.

Again, at this price point, would you think company like IWC gives out folding bucket as standard to increase the value of the watch instead of pin bucket?

What’s your take?

If you've got this, consider the Mark XX - blue sunburst dial and on the bracelet. To contrast with the matt black dial and green strap above.

Was thinking about it, in fact have tried on the exact model you have mentioned. It does wear well and very comfortable.

I am just waiting for coming W&W and see what addition IWC going to introduce. But i think this year going to be Portugieser’s year.
