When my grandpa died in 2019 I had a choice between his Seiko turtle or this Casio. I rarely saw him wear the Seiko but I remember him wearing this watch everyday so I chose this one. My little brother inherited the Seiko. At first I thought the band wasn't original but apparently it is. Anyone know more about this model or the history of it. I know it came out early 90s. Either way it will hold a special place in my collection.

Is it a stretch band, like a Twist-O-Flex band?

Yeah it stretches.
First off, I am not expert on this watch but I did a little bit of research.
The watch is a Casio AMW-320D which was released between 1987 and 1995. It has a nickname of "Casio Arnie / Kindergarten Cop" watch. Arnold Schwarzenegger wore in Kindergarten Cop.
Arnold was also wearing it in Last Action Hero.
Some people collect watches from movies so this would be one of them.
There is a review of it here:

Thats awesome thanks for the info. I was just watching another video where it shows Joe Pesci wearing it in Home Alone.
I watched Home Alone last night; and this was the exact watch that Joe Peschi was wearing!!! That’s awesome!
Great to have a watch that has such a strong family tie. I have two of my grandfather’s watches. He’s still around and just bemused that I love them so much. You enjoy this piece!
