New Nomos Release
Nomos teased a new release a couple of days ago, and predictably it's a Metro in several colors. They look nice enough, but I still like my "classic" Metro better. The colors make it fun, rather than stark and formal, as does the calculated asymmetry, adding fluidity in place of rigidity in the design. And I really like the power reserve, which I think makes the watch, and makes the dial change subtly throughout the day. And I need a date. I do rather like the red; red is my color. And they kept the wire lugs, which are short, form fitting, and comfortable, unlike the more typical Nomos popsicle stick.
Oh, I just noticed how small it is, 33mm. I guess it's a "lady's" watch, though Nomos never genders its watches.
