With or without wings?

For #worldtimerwednesday I'm wearing my Citizen Promaster Avion, BX1010-02E on a rubber strap.

There are many types of rubber straps, all with their pros and cons.

In my collection I have some flat, some with a curved end, and some with wings.

As you can see in the second photo, the strap I'm wearing today has wings. By this I mean that the strap is wider just under the lugs, than the actual lug-width.

On a bigger watch I prefer this kind since it gives the strap, mostly visually, a bit more weight and makes everything look just a bit more balanced.

What kind of rubber strap do you use the most? I look forward to reading it in the comments...

I prefer fitted/curved end to hug the case always and I like the wings on a bigger watch for sure because I have smaller wrist and the wings disguise the actual size of the case I beleive 🌈

I prefer without wings. More of a standard casual look I think. But the wings look nice too.

I have this blue FKM rubber that was cheap and feels great on the wrist. Much nicer than silicone.

I'd also recommend an expansion bracelet. When sized perfectly they are really comfy and convenient.

Can pull hair a bit but with my one it didn't happen often. Actually my g shock pulls more.

I tried fitted rubber and I absolutely hated the look. But it was maybe just my watch or color choice. It was a white rubber strap that you can see in one of my recent posts. I was trying to go for a NASA / space suit look but it failed miserably. 😂
