Today I’m wearing a new purchase - the Atowak Tarantula. First impressions:
Solid feel, very good build quality
Feels great and is a real head turner of a watch
Actually very easy to peek at the time (eg in a meeting) as the minute pointer at the bottom tells you with a quick glance how far through the hour you are.
The time ON the hour is a little weird as the hands point to 0 and 60. But just takes some getting used to. It’s not wrong per se, just a bit odd.
The wandering hands (pioneered originally by Urwerk) is awesome. Yes this is a reverse engineered watch, but it’s awesome and, well, since no one can afford an ACRUAL Urwerk, I have made my peace.
