Forstner have 'fixed' the Aquaterra!
I own an Aquaterra 41mm along with the Omega rubber strap & bracelet. The rubber strap is a perfect companion and I must admit, I really like the PCL bracelet too. But... the PCL bracelet is not great for everyday wear. Those center links inevitably get scratched and show finger marks way too much for my OCD.
I already own the Forstner brushed flat link bracelet which is a near perfect match for the AT (like the OEM without the PCL). But, I have just paired my AT with the model O and for me, the watch is now perfect👌 For me, it is now a Rolex killer🫢
If you don't know Forstner, they have a history of making Omega bracelets (google 'Komfit' for the speedmaster). This history coupled with the brilliant quality has allowed me to comfortably wear the OT on a non-Omega bracelet. Quick hack... for a better fit, use the Omega springbars instead of the Forstner as they ensure a tighter fit.
Model O Seamaster pre-2018 fits the AT. Has a cool 'spring link' too for added comfort.

Beautiful watch. Torn between that and the Datejust and some GS. Tried with rubber strap, and didn’t want to take it off. Probably the most comfortable watch I’ve tried. Perfect really as are the DJ and some titanium GS.

Not quite sure what area you are asking about here. The fit is snug, with a small area of the end link just overhanging the curve of the twisted lugs. Only obvious if you go looking for it👍
