Today I'm sharing the worst watch in my collection. Why do I say that the current version of the Rolex Submariner is the worst watch in my collection? Because it is too easy. It's too easy to pick this watch on any given day. It was too easy to desire this watch when I didn't have it (I desired this watch since I was 16, and it took me 31 years to get it). It's too easy to wear. Everything about this watch is too easy. It's the worst because, on any given day, it is very hard to decide to wear anything else. I do wear all my other watches, and I make a converted effort to ensure I spread around the wrist time, but if I'm being honest, this watch represents what I love about watches, distilled into the simplest package.
