A big weird watch that I shamelessly love!
I got this one back in 2012 when big oversized watches were sort of at their height of popularity. I was looking for a white watch and this certainly a big fat white one! I got in an airport Christ store in Germany.
Even the strap is oversized!
The swords are there because it’s the Zanzibar Special Edition. I have no idea what that means. Lol I looked this up years later to try and learn more about it and found that this is actually a women’s watch! 😂🤣
Despite its large size and obnoxious boldness, this is one of the watches that I get the most compliments on! It’s special to me because I bought it in Germany while I was there performing with the band.
I’ve always been a lover of watches since I was in middle school! I have had a few watches over the years that are special to me but didn’t really get serious with this 2022. I blame Teddy Baldassare...

Actually women are buying bigger watches just as guys are sizing down. The sales professional at the Tudor boutique was calmly explaining to me why I should play nice and let her bosses dictate the size I wear. I said that as long as Breitling and Panerai in the same mall have guy’s watches, they might get more of my dollars. I love the 3 perfect women in my life but I don’t also want to share my watches with them. The TW STEEL watch brought back some excellent memories, a smile to my face thx! Are you sure that is a lady’s iteration?

Interesting! Yeah I’m not 100% sure, when I looked it up and tried to find another one just like it all that came up was one that looked just like mine and said it was a women’s watch. So I’m not really sure but it was still kind of funny lol 😂 And I totally understand what you mean, Breitling and Panerai are still kinda huge. It’s funny how trends come and go with size, I have my grandfathers old Gruen from the 40s and I think a nickel might be just as big as that one!
Huge, but nice. You can also buy their "sister brand" Marc Coblen and TW Steel for very nice prices on horlogeoutlet.nl. Bought one a year ago, a 50mm but sold it, that was really too big, enjoy yours 👍
