Unfortunately, I don't have much information to share other than it's certainly 1970s-ish era. The movement appears to be based on FHF 908 but with Sandoz decorations. In addition to the movement, it has a signed caseback and crown. (Tropic rubber band is a new strap from Meraud.) I picked the watch up from an eBay seller in Korea for $200.
Sandoz kind of disintegrated as a Swiss watch brand in the 1980s, but there's still a remnant operating in Spain as https://www.sandoz.es Perhaps I can send them a polite query to see if they can add anything.
