As I sit here in the sanctum, pondering the intricacies of the multiverse, I can’t help but remember the day when I, Doctor Strange, inadvertently broke my cherished timepiece.

It was a typical day in the mystical realm, filled with incantations and astral projections. However, amidst my routine, a disturbance in the fabric of time caught my attention. An ancient artifact, long forgotten, had resurfaced in the heart of New York City. Sensing the urgency of the situation, I hastily donned my Cloak of Levitation and summoned the Eye of Agamotto, ensuring that time itself would bend to my will.

Rushing through the bustling streets, I finally arrived at the scene, where chaos reigned supreme. A group of rogue sorcerers had unleashed a spell of temporal manipulation, wreaking havoc on the city’s temporal fabric. Without hesitation, I engaged in a fierce battle, wielding my mystical powers against the dark forces that threatened to unravel reality.

In the heat of the confrontation, amidst swirling energies and arcane incantations, a stray bolt of magic struck my wrist, shattering the delicate mechanism of my timepiece. With a heavy heart, I watched as the intricate gears and hands fell apart, scattering fragments of my most trusted companion across the pavement.

Though the loss was great, I knew that the battle for the fate of the universe must continue. With newfound determination, I channeled my magic, vanquishing the sorcerers and restoring order to the city. Yet, as I stood amidst the debris, I couldn’t help but mourn the loss of my watch, a constant reminder of the fragility of time and the sacrifices required to protect it. (ChatGPT)

Any true watch AND Marvel geek would know that all of that is correct, and for Dr. Strange, the intricacies of the multiverse require him to be alert and through many realities. However, said watch geek would also know that through New York City, not a stray bolt of magic striking the wrist, but the dreaded "random" street pole or concrete building corner meeting the wrist while casually walking on the sidewalk -IS- what can wreck the wristwatch crystal. Sad, but true 😔🤣
