$56 Watch I didn't want but WOW
One day while I was on AliExpress, I saw a Cadisen watch that resembles the Rolex Wimbledon. It was on sale for $56 and I wanted to see if I liked this style of watch and if I didn't, no worries it's cheap.
After a few weeks of constantly checking the tracking information, it finally came...But instead of the watch I ordered...I got this...
Obviously I was annoyed about this not being what I ordered after weeks of waiting, but this watch wasn't bad enough for me to send it back. I wore for a few days and realized the lume on this $56 homage to the Rolex Yacht Master is shockingly really good...no like better than all of my watches hands down.
One thing I didn't like though was the bracelet it came with. The links on both ends of the watch came out so far that the bracelet made the watch look bigger on my wrist than it actually was.
Fortunately I just replaced the bracelet of my Pagani Design Moon watch with a leather one. Since both watches have 20mm bracelets I tried putting that bracelet I took off the Pagani and put it on this Cadisen....Dare I say I kinda like this watch now.
So this incorrect $56 AliExpress order has gotten me a Yacht-Master with an Omega style bracelet homage that has a sapphire crystal, automatic Seiko movement, AR coating, very good lume, and looks/functions better than a lot more expensive watches I've seen. Best part about this is that I can wear this without any fear of scratching or damaging it. After all it's a nice $56 beater watch that doesn't look $56 🤷🏿♂️😉
Started my watch journey a year ago after being gifted an Invicta. I'm a big fan of nice homage watches as well as luxury watches.
I personally went Casio Duro for the cost value but that is a quartz watch. Testing the specs on this watch your talking abiut your getting better value it seeems so long as it what well made.

It seems to be very well made. In fact it's very hard for me to find something really wrong with it, especially for a watch under $100. As is it's a great mechanical watch. Only way I can bring myself to talk down on is is directly comparing it to the Rolex Yacht Master about things such as the bezzle doesn't twist right and left like the Rolex does....but you can still use the bezzle just fine. I have two Duro's on leather buckle straps and those are also a great choice!

I've had this happen too, or have a watch look totally different from its photos when I unboxed it. I also embraced them, and now they're some of my favorites.
