Tudor Aeronaut GMT

Tudor released their first GMT watch called the Sport Aeronaut (ref. 20200), which debuted in 2007. It had the same 41mm diameter as the new Black Bay GMT, although the bezel is a brushed stainless steel instead of the current blue and red aluminum ("Pepsi") bezel.

The date subdial at 6 o'clock is adjusted by the pusher at 8 o'clock. It's a nice balance between form and function. (Not everyone wants a date window.) The date subdial combined with the two additional pushers that move the hour hand back and forth for quick setting almost gives the watch the appearance of a chronograph.

Along with a sapphire crystal and screw-down winding crown, the pushers can be locked by rotating an eighth of a turn to ensure water tightness up to 150m.

The Sport Aeronaut was discontinued in 2011,

I find it an ugly watch design, sorry....in my opinion Tudor was totally losing it the last 2 decades before 2012 and the birth of the Black Bay

It's definitely ugly, but somehow I prefer it to the modern Tudor's which appear to have simply taken Rolex design language and lowered costs.

Hey don't be sorry. I just can't explain why I was attracted to this model.

Like someone once said, "Ugliness is in a way superior to beauty because it lasts." 🤣
