An advantage of straps with built-in quick release spring bars compared to bracelets, especially on integrated watches, is the option to change the overall look of a watch so easily, I've been experimenting with different straps on two Bulova Jet Star Precisionist models. The photo on the left are the new straps compared to the previous versions on the right. The green leather strap on the gold model works well, I think. Likewise for the red FKM rubber strap on the limited edition with a silver dial. I'll give it a few weeks before deciding whether to keep each one.
