I often wear this pilot watch from the Cincinnati Watch Company on Flieger Friday. But it hasn't had much wrist time over the last month and needed an outing. It's the P-40M, named for an American fighter from the Second World War with the design of the art deco style hand set and dial face said to be based on the cockpit altimeter. Excellent performance comes from a Swiss Sellita movement and a unique look from the "honey gold" colored dial. No longer manufactured, it occasionally shows up on the secondary market but it's a fairly rare. piece and one I'm happy to have.
