Glad he's doing something different. The Marai is a Black Bay clone and has a hefty price tag of 1000+ euro(a bit too hefty if you ask me) so I'd love to see him do something of his own this time. The more watchmaking we can get back into Ireland the better!

What was your take on the new Turas 1914 release? I was underwhelmed to say the least.

I think I'm going to reserve judgement until I have one in my hands. It immediately reminded me of the black Bay 41 (the solid bezel version) but he's done something interesting with the dial that deserves closer scrutiny. I'll be up in Belfast in a month or so, so I'll see if I can pop by and get a better look.
