1st chronograph in the collection (had to take the leap sometime). The fear was ending up with something monstrously huge (or tall) ... this definitely, is neither.

What a great chronograph to start out with, and if you can handle a 7750 without issue I suspect you'll find plenty others to love, as well (even just within Sinn's own catalog).
I have two Sinn chronographs - my Sinn303 is a rather beefy 15.4mm, but my Sinn 144 is a relatively slim 14.4mm. The Sinn 144 is one of my favorite watches in my collection.
Hey @tempus - sorry for the late reply: I haven't put this one under the calipers yet but according to all I've read and can tell from wearing it this past week it does seem to come in under 15 with a good 2 of that being the acrylic domed crystal. Combined with the 38.5 x 46 case, well, it definitely sits on the smaller side of pretty much everything I own these days (and I don't own anything bigger than say, an SPB Willard)... I actually found it disconcerting at first but now I'm really starting to dig it.

Those dimensions are just slightly smaller than my Sinn 303 (approx 40mm x 47.5mm) , which I feel wears really well on my 17cm wrist, although I do wish it was a bit thinner.
I have an EZM 3F with (basically) that same classic Sinn blocky angular lug set but without the height - so for sure the 256 is smaller animal across the board. I do wish my EZM had the 303's domed crystal, though ... very cool watch.
