My wife has been going on extended work trips to the other side of the world... I used this as an excuse to purchase the 36mm Glycine Airman No.1, and I've been wearing it every day she's gone ๐

Killer watch! Vietnam vibes!
Unbelievable choice. At 36mm๐คฏ. Canโt stop imagining it on my wrist. This will be my first GMTโฆ thanks for unexpectedly helping decide๐๐ผ

I'm glad!! I was looking for a GMT but with a 6 inch wrist that's tough since small GMT watches are hard to come by. Despite some days of research I only found 3 other 36mm GMTs without going vintage: Christopher Ward recently released their Sealander GMT at 36mm, Farer has a 36mm GMT, and a new microbrand named Lorca also has one. I had wanted this Glycine Airman for a while but could never find it in stock. Miraculously though they're back in stock now (or was a couple months ago). Out of all of these the Glycine definitely has the most interesting heritage and incidentally is the least expensive of the 4! All the others are over $1000.
I say go for it! ๐
