Agreed,looks bit home made to me too.
Would thread be a better option for you? I can do that too in the future. The design of the strap allows for a smaller buckle too. The g hook buckle is movable and adjustable for a perfect fit to every wrist shape and size. Beautiful leather huh?

Yes. If the wire was done tight and smooth, it would be OK. However, the original post had a kink in one loop and the loops were not that tight. Not up to a jewelry level, imho. Wire tieing is fine as long it is done well. 😀
