What else can I ask?

So I’m buying this seamaster cosmic ref. 166-026, I’ve asked for service history, and if all parts are original. I’m waiting on more info. What else would you ask? Thanks internet friends.

Maybe ask how it's running? What's it's timekeeping/daily deviation like? Pretty critical, no good if it's all original and you've got it's service history but it's running shite.

Lovely watch, very pretty.

Good luck mate, it's a real beaut and I'm quite envious!!

Look forward to seeing your wrist shots 👍🏻👍🏻

Seller reports it’s running 10+ secs a day.

Pretty sure the dial has been redone.

Yes, the seller advised it had been redone. I can’t find an untouched green dial online. The font doesn’t look too BOLD.

Some people may scoff at a redial (looks nicely done to me) but as with anything in this great hobby we call watch collecting, it should be all about what you like. If this watch lights up your pleasure center, that is all that counts!

That’s true. I’m going to go Google bad examples of redials now. I’ve seen some where the Arabic numbers are all squiggly on the borders from a fat brush/excess paint.

Strangely the dial and the color looks exactly similar to my Tissot Gentleman … must be a coincidence

Yessir! I just have super small wrists. The most I can get away with is 38mm. I just need me a green dial that’s older than me. Lol.
