Something out of the norm for me today! This Citizen was gifted to me by my great Uncle about 8yrs ago now. It was my first watch, I never wore it outside of school dances & job interviews. Although I wasn’t into watches at the time I unknowingly was packing this watch with memories. It saw my first job interview & all the ones that followed, homecoming dances, one prom, and most recently was the watch that got me into this hobby.
Putting it on one day a few months ago and simply liking how it felt lead to exploring the watch world. Although I’m still in my infancy of collecting I know this will be one of the few watches that has come and will never go. I can’t wait to pack more memories onto this Citizen. We are quite the snowflake community but for good reason😅. So here is my snowflake story. Thank you Uncle Jamo for gifting me this hobby and all the memories that will follow!

So you left it in the light and it just kept working?

It sat in its box for a long time but now it sits in a watch box with a glass too so yes it does charge while sitting!
I'm liking this watch.
Nice watch there! Looking forward to seeing how your collection grows.
