Do we have to many tags?

I just posted something in WRUW and found out that I didn't tag my WRUW posts. So I wanted to add a Nato tag. So I typed Nato and the system came up with 5 nato related tags that are essentially all the same. #nato #natostrap #natostraps #natoband #natojunkie I know it can be great to add a non-existing tag ourselves. But still. Do we have to many tags?
