My first IWC
My first IWC watch. Before having this watch, I was just trying to get a chronograph tool watch. But after I have got this 3706 and have worn it for a while, I have realized that I really like the watch than what I have previous expected before owning it.
To me, the 3706 doesn’t look charming and special and also ratio seems to be a bit off on paper (39mm x 14.6mm). But after owning the watch, I do not find it too thick and bulky. It can slip into my shirt sleeve well.
However, I do get a kind of special feeling out of it. With the bracelet and T dial. It reminds me the feelings of the 90s (my teenage time in Vancouver, BC), not vintage but also not contemporary. Although the chronograph dial is a bit busy, IWC have made it feel delicate and clean looking.
After owning this watch, I will continue to collect more IWC watches, but I am still new in the hobby, so if you do have some good suggestions, please let me know below. Thanks
