My buddy’s WRUW!
My long time friend was visiting from out of town last week for the holidays and of course while he was here I had to show off my collection. He’s not a watch guy (Apple Watch and maybe an old Fossil, etc.), but he quickly became enamored while looking at the movements in some of my display case backs.
Because I found such an enthusiastic response from him, I decided on the spot that he needed a mechanical watch and I gifted him my Vaer A5 with a Miyota 9015. He’s been wearing it everyday since (double wristing with the Apple Watch!) and today he sent me a WRUW unprompted! I love it!
I think we’ve got another convert.

Awesome watch!! Might not be the most popular opinion but I would take a Vaer field watch over a Hamilton any day. Ryan and Reagan are killing it and look forward to seeing what else they got cooking!
