Totally frustrating day.
Spent hours today on a build that was very tedious and just not going well. I should have just thrown in the towel and saved it for another day when it first started going south ( loosing and finding screws, second hand and crown) but I just pushed ahead like I usually do. Finally got everything together only to flip it over and discover the fully lumed dial that I had used chipped in two areas leaving chips of luminous paint shaking around the face of the watch. Needless to say I could not leave it like that for fear that it would destroy the movement much less the fact that it looks horrible so I had to take everything apart and I'm pretty much right where I started. I have never had a build go that badly before. I guess there's a first for everything. Hopefully it is also a last. 😂🙏
Watch enthusiast, and collector. Very excited to talk to some like minded people. Seriously, very glad to have found this site. Now if only I could figure out what to do with my huge drawer of straps...
On those days where nothing goes right, time to set it all aside and try again another day. Pretty much applies to all hobbies as well as to work to some degree.

Keep at it mate! I struggled with builds of my own as well and I threw in the towel for one of them. but the perseverance pays off in my humble opinion! Stay strong 💪🏻
