DIY Watch Club (.com)

Does anyone have experience on assembling a watch from this DIY WC? (Pro vs Cons, $$$ yes/no, etc.) Thanks for your feedback in advance.

P.S. VERY new to watch collecting.

I’ve looked them up, and it seems to be overpriced. You’d have to source the parts individually, but if you do that, you can assemble a great watch on your own for half (or less) of what they’re charging.

I did one a few years ago. It was awesome - definitely takes patience but they give you all the tools you need, all of the components and there are videos for each step. I wear mine all the time still and since then built two more from parts on eBay. Great way to get started. They also look like they are having some crazy sales right now - not sure why.

That’s true but for a beginner it’s a lot easier just to get started like this, because the instruction videos are so clear and well made. The tools are also great
