This past May, on the way back from The Philippines to my home in Canada, I had the great fortune to of a 23 hour lay-over in Narita International, Japan. Now you might think that what's so great about a 23 hour lay-over? Well I had never set foot in Japan before, so that was thrill enough ... but even though I didn't leave the airport because of my GF's visa status, Narita offered a glimpse of Japanese life and culture (including a night in an actual Pod Hotel!!) that left me wishing I could stay longer ... not to mention that the people were absolutely fantastic; friendly and helpful and the food wonderful!
I will return someday! 👍
