Accidental 3+1 collection of watches
As I've pared down my collection of watches as I learn about what is considered a good watch (i.e. not fashion watch) , I'm left with the following 3+1 (one beater) watches. I won't call this a "watch collection", as there is no underlying philosophy linking them to each other. I call them a collection of watches, there is a distinction. I enjoy every one of these watches, and they get plenty or wrist time.
As I scroll the web I come across many watches I want to own and wear. At the same time I don’t want by wasteful by not giving all of them proper wrist time. I appreciate the minimalism doctrine. Perhaps this is analogous to the conflict between ego and id.
I am just curious, about the history, and about all watch movements.
