We have been meeting weekly on Saturday each week. I sorry to have provided only short notice in the past. I was not sure there would be enough interest at first with only a few participants. It’s early and evolving still.

There are a few regulars who are out of town this week so we may have a small group. We will meet at a table top or couches in the side room. We are friends with the owners and many of the people in town because we are locals. We have been talking watches and clocks. History, background, what we have learned, who needs help with what? We share advice. We share mistakes. We share what interests us. What’s for sale and where? That kind of thing. It has been very easy to have a conversation go quite long, Feel free to stay as long or as short as you need.

I hope to see you guys there. I’m driving a white LX570 with a for Hamilton sticker on the back. I try to always bring something to share that’s interesting. I’m looking for a Geiger counter if possible to check out vintage watches but it will need to be on the down low not to discourage customers. I’ve been practicing watch & clock repair as an amateur for about a year. Ask for James. Most of the staff know me. Thank you.

If this will be a normal Saturday meetup I can start planning to come. My son has a soccer tournament in Gainesville in the morning, so I won’t make it tomorrow. Thanks for the invite and looking forward to meeting you guys.
