So I’ve always had a bit of love for the full gold Rolex Day-Date, although to describe it as a bit much is probably a massive understatement, not to mention the price, silly money.
It’s nice to add a gold watch to my collection.
This watch has a steel case so hopefully it will survive my inevitable clumsiness when I drop my guard and bounce it off a door frame.
This era of the Tudor 76213 comes with an eta movement (before they moved to the selita equivalent more recently) I prefer a high quality off the shelf movement (rather than in house) so I can get it serviced for a reasonable price. This watch also perfectly embodies the original ethos of Tudor too, which I like (Rolex case/design with an off shelf movement)
This watch is a 2015 model and in pretty good condition.
This watch has a nice creamy coloured day date wheel that I really like.
36mm it the perfect size for this watch.
I went with a black stick dial as I like black dials and felt this was well balanced and not too ostentatious.
I’m super hyped about getting this and thought I’d share.
