Zodiac Super Seawolf for Humpday. Spring has sprung in Detroit, time for some color.
This stainless steel and ceramic diver measures 41 mm wide, 13.1 mm high with a lug to lug of a healthy 51 mm and 20 mm between the lugs. This watch has a steel core and a ceramic outer case. The crown and bezel are also ceramic, the case back and buckle are steel. It’s 200 meter water resistant.
Under the A/R coated domed sapphire crystal sits the Watermelon dial. A green sunburst inner dial has raised applied hour indexes made of Super-LumiNova. The minute track is orange with black painted indexes. The hour hand is black, the minute hand is orange with generous applications of lume on both.
The watch is powered by a Swiss Technology Products STP1-1, a COSC certified Chronometer, beating at 4Htz. This no date automatic movement has 26 jewels, hacking seconds and can be hand wound. Both Zodiac and STP are owned by the Fossil Group so I guess you can call this a manufacturer movement.
The watch sits on a matching tropic rubber strap that has a subtle cross stich pattern. Extremely comfortable to wear.
