Watches are conversation starters⌚😃!

Not to long ago a fellow WatchCrunch member asked me:

"Just curious - as a sommelier at an upscale restaurant, do you notice lots of great watches being worn by diners? And if so, do you ever end up having watch related discussions?"

My answer was:

"I'm super glad you asked 😊.

The answer is yes, definitly, after many years, months and sometimes just a few weeks of serving a new client the Watch Talk sparks naturally 🔥.

Here are the watches I remember just from the past 8 months. Some they removed from their wrist and allowed me to handle them even under brighter light to check out the details and geek out on them🤤😃👍.

Grand Seiko SBGE257

Tudor BB58 Bronze

Rolex Sky-Dweller 18ct Everose Gold (tried it on 😀)

Breguet Classique 5157 (the guilloché is sick 🤯🙌👀😃)

Patek Philippe 5990 (tried it on 😀)

Rolex Day Date green dial 18K (tried it on 😀)

Each and every client was very respectful towards my OW P-104 😅.  I actually look forward to having one client in particular on my YT channel."

Well tonight I had a great conversation with a client about his upcoming piece, the Richard Mille Yellow Gold Flyback GMT. Beast 👹 of a piece, he will bring it over once he receive's it 😃.

When leaving the restaurant we snapped this wrist shot together 👍. Sorry my camera was somewhat out of focus 😅.

He was wearing his Rolex 'Platona', officially called the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona In Platinum Reference 116506, and I my OW P-104 💪!

Well I thought I'd share tonight's Watch Story with all of you guys and girls on WatchCrunch 🤗.

Have a great night and sweet dreams 🌛🌚😴⌚...

Nice to be able to strike up watch conversations as part of your job:) Maybe it's just me, but I'd wear that OW P-104 over a Daytona every day of the week.

Thank you 🙏!

You're very kind. That is a fun part of my job 🍷😀⌚. And yes, the P-104 has been a great companion 💪.
