Found this vintage GP in my watch box in garage and it still works but after wearing I'm reminded WHY it was left there, it loses time CONSIDERABLY like a half hour. I assume it DEFINITELY needs servicing!
Before you spring the money for a service(which it probably does indeed need) you might buy a cheap demagnetizer on Amazon and see if that makes a difference or not. If not it never hurts to have one around for your other watches.
