My first “real watch,” given to me by my parents at graduation nine years ago. This is the Citizen Chrono Time AT. What it lacks in an automatic movement and a mechanical heartbeat, it more than makes up for with its soul-like connection to the Atomic Clock, synchronizing with it every 12:00 midnight. It certainly is, for me, an “elegant instrument, from a more civilized age.”

Nice. Doesn’t matter that it’s not mechanical. It’s a really sentimental piece celebrating a milestone and being your first real watch. Never sell it

Thanks, Daniel! I think we all have that one piece with tons of sentimental value and memories attached to them that we’ll cherish and hold onto for years to come.
That’s a beautiful watch, Stu. I completely agree with you—I think Citizen always offers dependable, quality pieces at an affordable, reasonable price. I don’t think I’ve had a Citizen that has failed me yet, after all these years, to be honest with you.
