Orient Triton is better than Kamasu 1 & 2

In my view, the Orient Kamasu 2 watches are a huge let down since the company opted for a  Rolex Submariner look rather than the original "shark teeth" or Omega-style. I returned a 1st version Kamasu (Japanese for "barracuda") I purchased recently and bought a Triton (RA-AC0K) instead. The Triton is much better in terms of build and quality and is almost the same price. The Triton  also has a Rolex Submariner vibe to it that I like too.

I agree that Triton is better than Kamasu, mainly due to the better build quality. But to me at least there are several key differences that might steer people away from Triton.

  1. Triton's date window at the 4 position. Not ugly, but unusual? some people might prefer the good ol' day date window at 3 o'clock on Kamasu.
  2. Triton's bigger case size. For me Kamasu is already a dinner plate on my wrist, Triton would be way too big.

But if I have larger wrist, I'd go for the Triton for sure
